2018 Beer Fest and Rib Cook Off

The Manasquan First Aid Squad is hosting the 2nd Annual Beer Tasting and Rib Cook Off on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 2-6 PM at the MFAS Building at 65 Broad Street.

This event will be to support the First Aid Squad, that provides emergency medical services to the towns of Manasquan and Sea Girt. Join us to taste local beers and yummy ribs, while supporting our organization.

Do you think you can cook ribs? Want to prove you have the best ribs around? Then enter as a cook.

Rib Teams (you can go solo, but isn't everything better with friends?) will be provided with up to 9 racks of St Louis Style Pork Ribs. They can be picked up between 5 PM and 8 PM at the MFAS building. You will have to return them cooked and ready to be judged and served by 1 PM on Saturday (9/22/2018).

First Prize will receive $100, Second Prize - $75 and Third Prize-$50.

You must be 21 or older to attend this event. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted inside the event. Please have identification proving your age and the ticket to enter.

Rib Team Entry -Each team will need to have access to a grill or smoker and provide any supplies and ingredients needed to cook their ribs. -Contestants must attend a Rib Meeting and Pickup on Friday, September 22, 2018 between 5 PM and 8 PM. Ribs will be cooked by the contestants at the location of their choice and must be delivered to the MFAS building, hot and ready at 1 PM on Saturday, September 22. No cheating! This is for fun and bragging rights! -Each team will receive one entry to the event. Any additional participant wishing to taste the beer must purchase an event ticket in addition to the fee to enter the rib contest.	$50.00	$3.50
